Mathilda's Market

I went off to Mathilda's Market yesterday with Bron. We had a great time and saw some lovely things that people had made.  I'm haven't been to the Fox studio area since they have redeveloped it from the showgrounds. There is so much to do there - eat, shop and a really fun playground for kids. I think I will have to go back with the whole family one weekend.

I bought some fabric for myself and some for a friend who couldn't make it herself.

I got lots of info about crafters and I am looking forward to looking them up online!

Isn't that swimsuit lovely, the owner of the stall was wearing one while she was selling them!

I also bought a really cute pad of sticky notes. Too cute.

I finished my bunting and am happy with how it turned out. I have enough fabric to make another set too.

I'm looking forward to the next birthday party to put it up.

I love this fabric. It is modern, but still floral. Pinks and greens together always appeal to me and I am lucky to have two girls to sew for.

I am so jealous that you went to Mathilda's Market. I never thought to ask you to pick me up some fabric!
Your bunting looks super cute!

I usually go to markets by myself as hardly any one I know is into crafting and handmade. I can't tell you how special it was to have someone to chat to about it all! It was a lively morning and one I know we are going to do again soon. Thanks for your lovely company, Jen. Don't forget that you need to encourage me to actually USE my new fabrics!!! x
