I have had a lovely break from everything really and have now got back into the swing of things.
I have picked up some knitting again and am working my way through it. I am working on a wrap type thing. Very descriptive. I am making it up as I go along. But I did get the cable pattern from the Debbie Bliss knitting magazine. Hopefully it will turn out as something I can drape over my shoulders in summer when the nighttime gets a little chilly. The wool is a cotton bamboo mix, just lovely.

My
littlest monkey has gathered some flowers from the garden for me. How sweet.

While I have not done any crafty thing over the holidays, I did get stuck into some reading. I have read the new Wally Lamb book, World Without End by Ken
Follett, and the lovely Guernsey Literary and Potato
Peel Pie Society. I would recommend them all.
